|A voyage of discovery from the Stone Age to the Wine Age|
Jois Museum offers insights into the past and people’s lives in a small village on Lake Neusiedl. Themed ‘Jois - from Stone Age to Wine Age’, the museum’s exhibition shows archaeological findings from Ancient History to the Modern Era, as well as the history of the town and its church, its work and community life. Highlights include the local School Museum with an original classroom from 1938, the Wine Museum and exhibits from the Jois volunteer fire service that goes back over 100 years. The exhibition is a protected monument. All exhibits are properly labeled.
