Hiking Trails
No matter what time of the year you visit, all hiking trails are rich in landscape and other natural beauties. In spring the area is ablaze with blossoms, in the summer you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets at Lake Neusiedl. When fall comes, there is a magical gleam to the light and the heavily laden vineyards. And the arrival of winter conjures up romantic landscapes of ice.

Jois Educational Wine Trail
From enjoying wine to understanding
One of the highlights on a walking or cycling tour around Jois is the original and carefully designed Educational Wine Trail. Come with us on a short journey about wine, learn interesting facts about the region, the work of winegrowers in days gone by and today at 10 different stations, and also get a short summary about the different types of wine. The different stations are marked by unique - probably worldwide - huge format wineglasses made of specially designed metal. These works of art blend in perfectly with the surrounding landscape and have already become a favorite spot with our visitors for taking photographs. We also periodically offer sociable and informative guided tours along the trails complete with wine tasting.
